  • What is the goal of the campaign?

    The main goal is to encourage visitors to learn Tokyo etiquette and customs during their stay to ensure that everyoe has a comfortable visit.

  • When is the event?

    The event will be held at the two venues below. Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building South Observatory: 7/10 - 8/3, 12:00 - 20:00
    * Closed on 7/21
    * Please note that the event will not take place at Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building North Observatory.
    Asakusa Culture Tourist Information Center: 8/5 - 8/17, 9:00 - 17:00

  • How do I receive my prize?

    Take part in the event, get your capsule toy, and if you get lucky, receive your prize on the spot.

  • Are there entry
    requirements ?

    Participation is free of charge. You must be able to access the site and complete the quiz and survey on your own smartphone.
    Participation is limited to one time per person.

  • Is it okay to post on social media?

    Feel free to post on social media. Don't forget to use the #hellotokyocapsule when you post!

  • Can anyone participate?

    Anyone traveling in Japan is eligible to participate.

  • Is it okay to sell a prize I win at the event?

    Selling event prizes is strictly prohibited.
